Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Adviser Md. Nahid Islam. The students were displeased when they promised to fulfill their demands within the next three days. Meanwhile, the students strongly urged to accept the demand within one working day.

On Monday (November 11) afternoon, he met with the protesting students in front of the secretariat. Nahid Islam said, we have not forgotten the contribution of Jagannath University in student movement. Our only problem is that students still have to take to the streets to collect their demands. I promise you, all your claims will be processed within next three working days.

When the students refused about three working days, Nahid Islam said that the problem of the hall cannot be solved in one day. We are looking into your claim. And today I see the issue of handing over the construction of the campus to the army.

The advisor said, your demands are reasonable. A university will not have a campus, will not have halls, it cannot be. We promise, these will be accepted soon.

Meanwhile, the students ask for a written commitment within a day. Earlier, students of Jagannath University blocked the secretariat from Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, they presented a three-point demand regarding the second campus of Jagannath University (JUB):

1. The project director appointed during the autocracy should be brought under the law and the construction of the new campus should be handed over to competent army officers within seven days.

2. There should be a clear announcement from the Ministry of Education that the work of the second campus has been handed over to the Army and the outline of the handover process should be clarified.

3. Immediate action should be taken to acquire the remaining 11 acres of land and cancel all agreements with the old campus during the dictatorial regime.
